Resort Lends a Helping Hand to Local School

Korotogo Andhra Sangam Primary School in Nadroga has received a significant boost for its extra-curricular activities through a $2000 donation from the Warwick Fiji Resort. School manager Ramesh Naidu expressed gratitude towards the resort for their support in the school’s maintenance project.

Naidu noted that the collaboration with the resort allows them to reconnect with the community, highlighting the funding provided for the scout’s jamboree and the school’s mathematics competition team, which reached the finals for the first time. He emphasized that this contribution would greatly benefit the students.

Nitin Goundar, the director of Human Resources at Warwick Fiji, stated that the donation is part of their commitment to corporate social responsibility. The school currently has an enrollment of over 550 students.

Additionally, the school expressed appreciation to the ‘Daughters of Charity’ for providing library books to their kindergarten. Naidu acknowledged the importance of these donations for enhancing the students’ educational experience.
