A man previously convicted of murder has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged assault that took place in the Daniva area. Samuela Rogoivalu faces multiple charges, including three counts of assault causing bodily harm and one count of criminal intimidation.
The incidents reportedly occurred on Sunday night when Rogoivalu is accused of attacking a man along with several members of his family. Following the events, he was brought before the Nasinu Magistrates Court, where he was remanded in police custody for a duration of fourteen days. Rogoivalu is scheduled to appear in court again on February 4th.
