Former Hurricanes and All Blacks Sevens utility back Salesi Rayasi has been included in the 80-member Fiji Water Flying Fijians squad, as confirmed by head coach Mick Byrne. Rayasi, who has recently signed a two-year contract with French club RC Vannes, continues to carry on the legacy of his father, Filipe Rayasi, a former full-back for the Flying Fijians.
Despite being part of the extended squad, Byrnes did not manage to meet with Rayasi during his recent visit to Europe due to time constraints, as the winger was in Paris, which was significantly far from his location.
