Flying Fijians Head Coach Mick Byrne has expressed his confidence in Isaiah Armstrong Ravula as he takes on the fullback role for today’s Pacific Nations Cup semifinal against the USA. Byrne highlighted Ravula’s background as a fly-half, suggesting that his skills will be beneficial in this new position.
“Isaiah’s a talented young player. Coming from the number 10 spot, he understands what playmakers are looking for, so he can anticipate and fill the space quickly,” Byrne stated. He emphasized that Ravula’s ability to read the game will enhance his performance as a fullback.
Byrne also mentioned that Ravula has adjusted well to the change. “He’s really enjoying the freedom at the back, and he’s been doing a great job so far,” he remarked.
