“Ravula’s Big Shift: Can the Young Star Shine at Fullback?”

Spread the love

Flying Fijians Head Coach Mick Byrne has expressed his support for Isaiah Armstrong Ravula, who is set to take on the fullback position in today’s Pacific Nations Cup semifinal against the USA. Byrne highlighted Ravula’s background as a fly-half, suggesting that his skills will transition effectively to the fullback role.

“Isaiah is a talented young player. Coming from the number 10 position, he understands what playmakers look for, allowing him to anticipate and occupy space quickly,” Byrne commented. He emphasized Ravula’s ability to read the game, which he believes will be a crucial asset in his new position.

Byrne also mentioned Ravula’s comfort level since the transition, stating, “He’s really enjoying the freedom at the back, and he’s been performing exceptionally well so far.”

The coach reported that the team is in high spirits and prepared for the upcoming challenge, while also acknowledging fan support from across the nation. “The team feels the love, and we’re fully ready to give it our all tomorrow,” Byrne concluded.
