Ravula’s Big Leap: Coach Backs Young Star for Fullback Role!

Flying Fijians Head Coach Mick Byrne has expressed his confidence in Isaiah Armstrong Ravula as he takes on the fullback position in today’s Pacific Nations Cup semifinal against the USA. Byrne highlighted Ravula’s background as a fly-half, suggesting that his skills will effectively transition to the fullback role.

“Isaiah is a talented young player. Having played as a number 10, he understands what playmakers need, which allows him to anticipate and quickly fill spaces,” Byrne commented. He emphasized that Ravula’s ability to read the game makes a significant impact as he adapts to the fullback position.

Byrne also remarked on Ravula’s comfort level since the switch. “He’s really enjoying the freedom at the back and has been performing excellently,” he noted.

The coach added that the team is in high spirits and ready to face the challenge ahead, acknowledging the overwhelming support from fans across the country. “The team feels the love, and we’re fully prepared to give it our all tomorrow,” Byrne concluded.
