What started as a side project during a challenging phase has evolved into an integral part of the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua’s professional structure. Moses Armstrong Ravula, a development player, along with his brother, Drua flyhalf Isaiah Armstrong Ravula, has seen their local apparel brand, GODLY, become the club’s official compression partner.

This exciting partnership will provide the entire Drua squad with locally developed “GODLY” calf skins, enhancing both performance and comfort for the players. For Moses, this partnership is immensely meaningful on both personal and professional levels.

“We started this business two years ago, and achieving this milestone is a dream come true, both as a player with the Drua and as a business partner with my favorite rugby team. It’s truly special to have my brother alongside me,” he expressed.

Moses shared that the brand emerged during a particularly tough period in his life, characterized by injuries and personal challenges. “At that time, it was difficult for me, affecting my faith and my rugby due to injuries and the associated struggles,” he noted. Yet, he found renewed purpose through building the brand, crediting his faith and family for their unwavering support.

This collaboration not only marks a significant achievement for the Ravula brothers but also underscores the importance of locally driven entrepreneurship in professional rugby. The Drua organization continues to emphasize support for homegrown talent both on and off the field.

Looking ahead, the Drua will face off against the Brumbies next Saturday at 3.35pm in Ba, with the match available for live viewing on FBC Sports. This partnership signifies a hopeful future, highlighting the potential for local businesses and athletes to thrive together in the sporting arena.
