Ratu Kadavulevu School Old Boys triumphed over Queen Victoria School Old Boys with an exciting 40-36 win to claim the Sovanivalu Shield at Albert Park in Suva yesterday.
The highly anticipated match showcased two of Fiji’s renowned rugby teams in a fierce showdown. RKSOB established an early lead, finishing the first half at 25-15, but QVSOB fought back valiantly in the second half, tightening the competition.
The game featured several notable players, with QVSOB including Fijian Drua halfback Simione Kuruvoli and former Flying Fijians fullback Kini Murimurivalu in their roster.
