Ratu Kadavulevu School narrowly defeated Marist Brothers High School in an exciting Vodafone Super Deans U17 final, winning by a score of 35-34 at the HFC Bank Stadium this afternoon.

The match was intense from the beginning, showcasing both teams exchanging tries in a closely fought contest. RKS’s Tevita Rokosuka was a standout performer, scoring two of the twelve tries made by both teams. At halftime, RKS maintained a slim lead of 21-17, and the second half followed a similar pattern.

Lemeki Ratuvukivuki increased RKS’s lead with an additional try, but Marist quickly countered with a try from Saverio Tavakai, bringing the score to 28-22 in favor of RKS. Sairusi Rokotuva scored two more tries for RKS, while Semi Vuakilau added a try for Marist, resulting in a thrilling final score of 35-34, allowing RKS to hold on for victory.
