Ratu Kadavulevu School triumphed over Marist Brothers High School in a dramatic Vodafone Super Deans U17 final, winning by a narrow margin of 35-34 at the HFC Bank Stadium earlier today.

The match was intense from the beginning, with both teams exchanging tries in a fierce competition. Tevita Rokosuka from RKS was instrumental in the victory, contributing two of the twelve tries scored overall. RKS managed to take a slight lead into halftime, holding a score of 21-17.

As the second half progressed, Lemeki Ratuvukivuki extended RKS’s advantage with an additional try, but Marist responded swiftly with a try by Saverio Tavakai, reducing the gap to 28-22. Sairusi Rokotuva further increased RKS’s score with two more tries, while Semi Vuakilau for Marist made a late effort, bringing the final score to a thrilling 35-34. RKS narrowly secured the win in a tense finish.
