Ratu Kadavulevu School triumphed over Marist Brothers High School in a dramatic Vodafone Super Deans U17 final, clinching a thrilling 35-34 win at the HFC Bank Stadium this afternoon.
The match was an intense encounter from the beginning, with both teams exchanging tries in a high-stakes battle.
Tevita Rokosuka of RKS was a standout performer, contributing two of the twelve tries scored by both teams. RKS went into halftime with a slender 21-17 lead, and the intensity persisted into the second half.
Lemeki Ratuvukivuki extended RKS’s lead with another try, but Marist quickly countered with a score from Saverio Tavakai, reducing the gap to 28-22 in favor of RKS. Sairusi Rokotuva added two more tries for RKS, while Semi Vuakilau scored for Marist, bringing the final score to a dramatic 35-34, with RKS narrowly holding on to secure the victory.
