The Ratu Kadavulevu School Under-14 rugby team has emphasized the values of discipline, humility, and respect during their campaign for the Vodafone Deans Trophy. This was highlighted by team manager Eta Vakalutugone during an interview after their semi-final victory, where they defeated Marist Brothers High School with a score of 13-0.
Vakalutugone dedicated the semi-final win to the Under-18 and Under-19 teams of RKS, expressing gratitude for reaching the final. She also acknowledged the tremendous support received from teachers, parents, and alumni.
The manager expressed confidence, stating, “We are going to back our performance in the final,” and noted that the unity among players has been a significant strength for the team. The team is bracing for a challenge against the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial side in the final match.
