Former parliamentarian Simione Rasova will learn on September 6 whether he has to answer to charges against him. He is accused of providing false information regarding his permanent place of residence on parliamentary records, which resulted in him receiving $21,350 in allowances he was not eligible for between July 2019 and April 2020. Rasova appeared yesterday before Magistrate Pulekeria Low at the Suva Magistrate’s Court. His bail has been extended.
