Former parliamentarian Simione Rasova is scheduled to learn on September 6 whether he will face charges related to allegations of misrepresenting his permanent residence in parliamentary records. He reportedly collected $21,350 in allowances between July 2019 and April 2020, which he was not entitled to receive. Rasova appeared in Suva Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Pulekeria Low yesterday, and his bail has been extended.
