Former parliamentarian Simione Rasova is set to learn on September 6 whether he faces charges in a legal case. He is accused of misrepresenting his permanent residence on official parliamentary documents and wrongfully claiming $21,350 in allowances from July 2019 to April 2020. Rasova appeared in the Suva Magistrate’s Court on Thursday before Magistrate Pulekeria Low. His bail has been extended.
