A bail decision for two individuals charged with aggravated robbery at Top Shop in Raiwai is set to take place next Monday. The accused, 23-year-old Lagani Rabukawaqa and 25-year-old Saimoni Macedru, appeared before Suva Magistrate Shageeth Somaratne for their hearing.

During the proceedings, Police Prosecutor Constable Saula Qiolevu confirmed that he received the bail application earlier today. Both men face one count each of aggravated robbery following an incident where they allegedly stole nine dollars and a wristwatch from a 50-year-old man who was waiting for a bus.

The case has been adjourned and will be revisited next Monday, with the subsequent court date scheduled for the 16th of this month at the Suva High Court. The legal process is being closely monitored as the community looks for justice in this disturbing case.
