Police conducted a raid in Raiwai yesterday, resulting in the seizure of both foreign and local currencies. In addition to the cash, authorities confiscated white substances suspected to be methamphetamine, along with several items believed to be stolen, including laptops and smartphones.
The operation was led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, and involved the Southern Division’s Serious Organised Crime and Intelligence Unit as well as the K9 Fiji Detector Dog Unit. Following the raid, two men and a woman were arrested. ACP Driu indicated that similar joint operations will continue across all five policing divisions.
