Radradra: A Last Stand for the White Jersey?

As the November Northern Hemisphere tour approaches, Semi Radradra, a standout player for the FIJI Water Flying Fijians, has suggested that they may not wear the white jersey again. Radradra, along with senior teammates Waisea Nayacalevu and Levani Botia, voiced concerns about alleged mismanagement within the Fiji Rugby Union during a recent social media podcast. He expressed a belief that their statements could mean they have played their final game in the iconic white jersey.

“We have now put our careers on the line to speak up for our brothers who wear the white jersey,” Radradra stated in Fijian. He added, “We expect ripples after speaking out.”

He expressed a strong sentiment, saying, “Most possibly we have worn the white jersey for the last time and may never again. Some things we have said will be felt at the management level.” Radradra emphasized that their comments were made for the betterment of Fiji Rugby.

The Flying Fijians are set to compete against Scotland on November 3, Wales on November 11, and Ireland on November 24 during this year’s Northern Tour.
