More than 40 participants from various organizations gathered for the Frank Hilton Organisation’s major Wheelbarrow Race fundraiser captains run at Albert Park in Suva on Saturday morning.
The eighth Amazing Wheelbarrow Race is scheduled for this Saturday and aims to raise over $3000.
The organization’s CEO, Sureni Perera, mentioned that the event would be an enjoyable occasion, where corporate entities pledge their support to Frank Hilton. Participants will also have the option to obtain a fund me link for the virtual race, which allows others to push their wheelbarrow in different locations around the country with a $10 donation.
“The virtual platform can reach anyone, anywhere in the world, providing more opportunities for people to participate and be part of the race,” Ms. Perera stated.
“Every dollar will go towards transforming the lives of children with disabilities in Fiji.”
