A new champion will be named at the 54th RC Manubhai Ba Golf Open scheduled for November 23-24, as last year’s titleholder Abid Hussein has turned professional. Ba Golf Club’s captain, Asish Chand, expressed growing excitement for this key annual event.
“We will soon release the entry form containing all pertinent details, including entry fees and prize information,” he said.
Chand noted that last year, the event attracted over 100 participants, including several international golfers. “We anticipate a similar level of interest from local and overseas players,” he added.
He also acknowledged the continuous support from RC Manubhai, particularly director Rajesh Patel, who has consistently backed the event.
Chand mentioned some of the top competitors expected to participate, including Isei Waqa, Shakeel Pillay, Nitulesh Mali, and Indra Warjan. “Even though it’s in November, we are hopeful for favorable weather,” he stated.
