Prime Minister and Minister responsible for Police, Sitiveni Rabuka, recently met with senior police officials in the Western Division, emphasizing the critical role law enforcement plays in ensuring peace and security in the nation. His visit, which took place at the Lautoka Police Headquarters, included discussions with the divisional police commander, station officers, and other senior officials.

Rabuka acknowledged the challenges faced by police officers in maintaining safety and upholding law and order. He urged them to carry out their duties with integrity and impartiality, reinforcing the idea that law enforcement is essential for a harmonious society. “You are law enforcement officers; your responsibility is to enforce the law,” he reminded the attendees.
