The Prime Minister of Fiji, Sitiveni Rabuka, has traveled to New Zealand for a scheduled medical review concerning a previous injury related to his rugby career. He is accompanied on this trip by his personal physician, Dr. Om Prasad.
During the Prime Minister’s absence, Filimoni Vosarogo, the Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources, will step in to fulfill the duties of acting Prime Minister. This temporary arrangement ensures that the leadership of the country continues to function smoothly while Prime Minister Rabuka attends to his health.
This proactive approach by Rabuka in managing his health demonstrates a commitment to both personal well-being and effective governance.
