Queen Victoria School is one step closer to defending the Vodafone Deans U18 title after a hard-fought 17-11 victory against Ratu Navula College in the second semifinal held at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. Fullback Nathan Stephens was instrumental in the win, successfully kicking three penalties early in the match. Ratu Navula managed to respond just before halftime with a try and a penalty, closing the gap to 9-8.
The second half was marked by intense competition as both teams fought fiercely. Ratu Navula added another penalty, but Queen Victoria School secured the victory with a try and another penalty from Stephens. This win sets them up for a final match against Nasinu Secondary School next Saturday.
