Queen Victoria School is set to defend its Vodafone Deans U18 title after a closely contested 17-11 victory over Ratu Navula College in the second semifinal held at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. Fullback Nathan Stephens was instrumental in the win, kicking three early penalties.
Ratu Navula made a comeback just before halftime with a try and a penalty, bringing the score to 9-8. The second half featured intense competition, with both teams vying for dominance. Ratu Navula added another penalty, but Queen Victoria School secured their place in the final by scoring a try and another penalty from Stephens. They will face Nasinu Secondary School next Saturday in the championship match.
