Queen Victoria School is on course to defend its Vodafone Deans U18 title after achieving a hard-fought 17-11 victory over Ratu Navula College in the second semifinal held at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva today. Fullback Nathan Stephens was instrumental in the victory, successfully converting three penalties early in the match.
Just before halftime, Ratu Navula College struck back with a try and a penalty, bringing the score to 9-8. The second half featured intense action as both teams fought vigorously. Ratu Navula managed to score another penalty, but QVS secured their victory with a try and an additional penalty from Stephens, setting up a final clash against Nasinu Secondary School next Saturday.
