Defending Vodafone Deans Trophy champions, Queen Victoria School, have advanced to the Eastern Zone Under-18 final. QVS achieved an 18-15 victory over the surprising contenders, Tailevu North College, at the Dawasamu Secondary School ground on Friday.
They are set to face their neighbors, Ratu Kadavulevu School, in the zone final. Ratu Kadavulevu School tied 15-15 with Lelean Memorial School in their semifinal match. However, as per competition rules, RKS was awarded the win for scoring the first try.
