The 2024 Deans Quarterfinals wrapped up today, with defending champions QVS, Nasinu Secondary, Cuvu College, and Ratu Navula College advancing to the U18 competition semifinals.
In the U14 category, MGM narrowly defeated QVS 18-15, while Marist dominated Ra High School with a score of 46-0. Lelean Memorial School secured a win against Ratu Navula College with a final score of 15-10, and RKS triumphed over Suva Grammar School 22-12.
In the U15 matches, Gospel High School edged out RKS 12-7, QVS triumphed over Natabua High School 15-0, Marist Brothers High School narrowly beat Sigatoka Methodist 17-13, and Suva Grammar School won convincingly against Holy Cross College with a score of 36-5.
The U16 games saw Suva Grammar defeating Ba Provincial 34-24, Lelean narrowly overcoming Marist 8-6, RKS winning against Ba Methodist 30-8, and QVS topping Nasinu 27-12.
For the U17 category, Marist dominated Dawasamu Secondary School with a score of 51-5, while QVS narrowly beat Natabua High School 21-19. RKS achieved a resounding victory against Nabua Secondary School, winning 55-19, and Ratu Navula College edged past Nasinu 20-14.
In the U19 division, RKS overwhelmed Lami High School 50-11, QVS narrowly overcame Nasikawa Vision College 14-7, Ratu Navula had a decisive win against Nasinu with a score of 30-7, and Naitasiri Secondary School defeated Navatu Secondary School 17-13.
