Eight teams have advanced through the challenging elimination rounds of the Vodafone Cup National Quarterfinals and are gearing up for a fierce competition to secure a place in the semifinals.
Among the teams vying for victory are the formidable Dee Cees Nadera Panthers and the consistently competitive Saru Dragons. Additionally, the Laselase Cowboys and Topline Warriors are making their debut at this stage of the tournament.
Akuila Masi, the Executive Chairman of FNRL, has urged fans to come out and show their support for the teams.
“This weekend marks an exciting chapter in our rugby league history,” Masi stated. “These teams have put in tremendous effort to reach this point and they deserve all the encouragement they can get. It promises to be a day filled with intense competition and outstanding rugby action.”
The Quarterfinal fixtures at Lawaqa Park are as follows:
– 9:00 am: Warwick Vusu Raiders vs. Topline Warriors
– 11:00 am: Dee Cees Nadera Panthers vs. Waitaci Titans
– 1:00 pm: Ravoravo Rabbitohs vs. Laselase Cowboys
– 3:00 pm: Navy Albatross vs. Saru Dragons
The Vodafone Cup National Quarterfinals will take place this Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka, starting at 9:00 am.
