Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka is calling on the citizens of Kadavu to maintain continual dialogue with officials to guarantee prompt progress on development projects. In an apology to the Kadavu residents for the slow spending of allocated development funds, Mr. Rabuka recognized the setbacks and encouraged locals to constantly check in with numerous government departments concerning the advancement of community projects.

Mr. Rabuka asserted that they hold the authority to question the Government and ensure that community development is moving forward as scheduled. He clarified that any unspent development budget from the previous financial year is still present within the Finance Ministry’s budget.

The meeting of the Kadavu Provincial Council is taking place at the Suva Civic Centre and is scheduled to conclude today.
