Aanvi Prasad’s dedication and hard work have led her to become one of the highest achievers in the 2024 Fiji Eighth Year Examination. A Year 8 student at Lautoka Central Primary School, Aanvi achieved an impressive score of 491 out of 500. She expressed that her efforts and the sacrifices made over the past year were instrumental in reaching her goal.
“I dreamed of being the highest scorer and worked tirelessly for it,” Aanvi shared. She emphasized the importance of setting timetables and staying committed to her studies. With clear aspirations to excel, she communicated her goals to her parents, expressing her determination to achieve top rankings in all her exams. “I am thrilled to have accomplished this,” she added.
As the head girl of her school, Aanvi recognized the challenges posed by her competitors. She reflected on moments when doubts crept in, especially when peers suggested that achieving the highest mark was unattainable. Looking ahead, Aanvi plans to continue her academic journey at Natabua High School next year. In a parallel achievement, Viola Ravutubananitu from Tagitagi Sangam School in Ba also matched Aanvi’s remarkable score of 491 marks.
