This year’s inter-district championship for primary schools has showcased remarkable skills and talent, according to Dinamani Mudaliar, the president of the Fiji Primary School Football Association. Mudaliar noted that the quality of gameplay has improved significantly, resulting in exciting finishes and closely contested matches.
He pointed out that the scorelines reflect close competitions, with many games ending in narrow margins, such as 2-1 or even ties. This trend indicates a more challenging environment for the teams, as seen in the increasingly competitive nature of the matches.
Mudaliar emphasized that while larger teams have historically been dominant, this season has featured surprising draws and tight victories, indicating that the disparity between the leading teams and their competitors is diminishing. He urged fans and supporters to come out in large numbers to back their teams during the event.
