The President of Fiji, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, has accepted an invitation from the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union (FSSRU) to attend the final of the 85th Deans competition, scheduled to take place at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva tomorrow.
A delegation from the FSSRU visited the President at State House today, where they presented a traditional sevusevu and extended their invitation.
In response, President Katonivere expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the FSSRU’s commitment and hard work over the years in promoting rugby at both primary and secondary school levels. He assured the delegation of his ongoing support and encouraged them to raise awareness about rugby development in the outer islands, highlighting the importance of understanding the rules that govern the FSSRU.
