The President of Fiji, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, has accepted an invitation from the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union (FSSRU) to attend the final of the 85th Deans competition, which will take place at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva tomorrow.
A delegation from the FSSRU visited the President at State House to present a traditional sevusevu and extend the invitation.
While welcoming the delegation and accepting their invitation, President Katonivere expressed his appreciation for the FSSRU’s commitment to promoting rugby at both primary and secondary school levels over the years.
He assured them of his ongoing support and encouraged the organization to foster rugby development in the outer islands, highlighting the importance of understanding the rules that govern the FSSRU.
