Fiji’s President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere has accepted an invitation to attend the final of the 85th Deans competition, organized by the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union (FSSRU), set to take place tomorrow at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. A delegation from FSSRU met with the President at State House today to present their traditional greeting, known as sevusevu, and extend the invitation.
In his response, President Katonivere expressed his appreciation for the FSSRU’s commitment to promoting rugby at both primary and secondary levels over the years. He promised ongoing support and urged the members to enhance awareness of rugby development in the outer islands, highlighting the importance of understanding the rules that govern the FSSRU.
