Residents in the Central and Western Divisions are advised to prepare for traffic disruptions from August 5 to August 7, due to police traffic management and escort operations for the State visit of Droupadi Murmu, the President of India.

Livai Driu, the Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations, has confirmed that there will not be any complete road closures during this time.

Motorists are encouraged to help facilitate the motorcade by making way for police escort vehicles as they pass.

ACP Driu underscored the commitment to minimize disruptions and called for patience and cooperation from the public throughout this period.
