Parliament was adjourned earlier today due to an unexpected power outage in the capital. Speaker Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu announced the adjournment at 3:05 PM, explaining that the automatic recording capabilities through the Info Technology & Computing infrastructure were disrupted.
As a consequence, the system was unable to broadcast, and the For the Record (FTR) could not capture the proceedings, which are essential for the official records maintained by the Hansard team.
The House is scheduled to reconvene tomorrow at 9:30 AM.
