Energy Fiji Limited (EFL) has announced a scheduled power outage for today, November 25, in order to perform essential maintenance on power lines. The planned shutdown will affect various areas, taking into consideration weather conditions.
In Labasa, power will be interrupted from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, impacting locations such as Naduna, Nagigi No.11, Nagigi Primary School, and several businesses along Waigele Airport Road through to Wailevu Village Junction and Wailevu Solove Junction.
Residents in Nasese can expect power outages from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with areas affected including the entirety of Domain Road, Allardyce Road, Jackson Street, and Mahatey Drive, among others.
In Savusavu, a temporary power cutoff is planned from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, affecting neighborhoods like Nacekoro and Tavulomo.
Nadi will face a power shutdown from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, concentrating on the whole of Nawaka, Nawaka Village, and parts of Kerebula, as well as various roads and local establishments in the area.
EFL urges residents to treat all power lines as live, as they could become energized unexpectedly.
