The deputy leader of The People’s Alliance party, Manoa Kamikamica, has urged members of the government who are considering forming their own party to resign immediately. His comments follow assertions by Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka regarding discontent among some members of the government.

Kamikamica stated, “Leave now and don’t let that door hit you on the way out,” emphasizing that such actions show a lack of respect for the sacrifices made to secure stability in Fiji’s democracy. He noted that these members disrespected the voters who supported the Prime Minister and the party’s vision.

He declared, “There is no room for instability, no room for personal agendas that work against the unity of our nation,” and warned that any attempts to destabilize the government would be met with strong opposition.

Kamikamica expressed his commitment to maintaining Fiji as a stable and prosperous nation for future generations. He mentioned that their current work is focused on paving the way for economic growth, social unity, and creating a stronger future, asserting that no one would be allowed to undermine that vision.
