Prime Minister and Leader of the People’s Alliance Party, Sitiveni Rabuka, has acknowledged that some party members are considering the establishment of a new political party in anticipation of the 2026 General Election. Rabuka stated that the members are free to pursue this path. In a message shared on his Facebook page, he emphasized that the People’s Alliance remains strong and united, dedicated to fulfilling its commitments to the Fijian people. He assured that the party will not be sidetracked, maintaining a clear focus on its mission.
