Prime Minister and Leader of the People’s Alliance Party, Sitiveni Rabuka, has acknowledged that some members of his party are contemplating the establishment of a new political party in anticipation of the 2026 General Election. Rabuka expressed that these members are entitled to pursue their desires. However, in a statement shared on his Facebook page, he emphasized that the People’s Alliance remains robust, united, and dedicated to fulfilling its commitments to the Fijian people. He stated, “We will not be distracted. Our focus is clear, and our mission continues.”
