Filimoni Vosarogo has expressed his unwavering support for the Prime Minister, stating, “I have personally assured the honourable Prime Minister of my allegiance to his leadership in Government and in the party.” He emphasized that nothing would change this commitment.
Vosarogo also responded to claims made by Australian resident Alexandra Forwood, who alleged that he and other ministers were attempting to separate from the People’s Alliance (PA) party. He stated, “I received an email from Alexander Forwood alleging my involvement with Hon DPM Kamikamica and Hon Siromi with Hon Ditoka in the formation of a new political party.”
He dismissed these accusations, calling them “absolute hogwash” and asserted, “There is simply no truth to the allegations made by this self-important individual who is so incessantly egotistical about her social media persona.” Vosarogo further criticized Forwood, stating that her emails and social media posts could have faced legal challenges if she were in Fiji. He concluded by mocking her contribution to the nation, questioning whether she even pays taxes in the country.
