Political Allegations Spark Controversy in Fiji’s Leadership

Mr. Vosarogo has reaffirmed his loyalty to the Prime Minister, stating, “I have personally assured the honourable Prime Minister of my allegiance to his leadership in Government and in the party. Nothing changes that.”

His remarks followed claims made by Australian resident Alexandra Forwood, who accused him and fellow ministers Mr. Kamikamica, Mr. Ditoka, and Mr. Turaga of attempting to break away from the People’s Alliance (PA).

In response to Forwood’s allegations regarding his supposed involvement in forming a new political party with his colleagues, Mr. Vosarogo firmly rejected them. “I state categorically that the allegations by Ms. Forwood are absolute hogwash. There is simply no truth to the claims made by this self-important individual who is so incessantly egotistical about her social media persona.”

He further criticized Forwood’s influence, suggesting that her actions could have led to legal consequences if she lived in Fiji. “She is an absolute joke. Does she pay taxes here? She contributes to nothing in nation building.”
