The Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew, has called for a comprehensive investigation into a police vehicle accident that occurred in Saweni this morning. Four police officers were in the vehicle en route to Lautoka when the driver reportedly lost control, leading to the vehicle rolling over. Chew indicated that appropriate disciplinary measures would be implemented if the officers are found to have violated road regulations or misused their authority while operating the police vehicle. The four officers are currently being monitored at Aspen Hospital in Lautoka.
