Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew has announced an in-depth investigation into a police vehicle accident that occurred in Saweni this morning.
The incident involved four police officers who were en route to Lautoka when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, resulting in it rolling over.
Chew emphasized that disciplinary measures will be implemented if the investigation reveals that the officers violated road safety laws or misused their authority while operating the police vehicle.
At present, the four officers are receiving medical attention at the Aspen Hospital in Lautoka.
