In the recent Volleyball competition, the Police Servers 2 triumphed over Army Servers 2, winning 2 out of 3 sets. Additionally, in a thrilling match, the Police Wives emerged victorious against the Army Wives, securing their win in a total of 3 out of 5 sets.
Police Wives Team Captain, Mereia Tuisawau, shared insights into the team’s preparation, describing it as a challenging journey. She noted that balancing training with family commitments, especially for those with children, significantly added to the difficulty of their preparation.
The team’s coach, Ratu Seremaia Tuinausori, expressed his pride in the players’ dedication during training, highlighting their efforts as a key factor in today’s success. He thanked God for providing the team with the strength to perform, recognizing that despite the Army Wives winning the first set, the Police Wives relied on their rigorous preparation to turn the match in their favor.
Tuisawau acknowledged the obstacles the team faced, mentioning player availability issues due to commitments to other sports, including netball and rugby sevens. However, she expressed gratitude for the resilience and positive spirit within the team.
