Last night, police in Narere detained five individuals during a raid on a residence, where they discovered six zip-lock bags filled with white crystals believed to be illegal substances. In a separate operation, a police team confiscated 272 green plants suspected to be marijuana in the Tacilevu farming area of Savusavu.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, highlighted that drug-related raids are conducted daily, resulting in numerous arrests and charges. He noted the growing community support, with villagers cooperating by providing information, aided by the presence of the Turaga ni Koro.
