Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka visited senior police officials in the Western Division on December 9, emphasizing the critical role of law enforcement in ensuring peace and security throughout the nation.
During his visit, PM Rabuka engaged with the divisional police commander, station officers, and other senior officials at the Lautoka Police Headquarters. He acknowledged the challenges faced by the police in their duty to maintain safety and uphold law and order, urging officers to serve with integrity and impartiality.
“You are law enforcement officers, and your primary responsibility is to enforce the law. It is essential for the community to feel a natural inclination to abide by the law. When society is at peace, there is less likelihood of confrontation with legal regulations,” Rabuka stated.
