The event, part of the Cakaudrove Multi-Ethnic Youth and Sports Festival, is organized by coordinator Aubrey Whippy, who noted that 14 outstanding contestants from 12 different districts are competing for both the Miss Cakaudrove Youth and Miss Charity titles.

The festivities will commence today with a parade starting at the Savusavu Court House, leading to Narain Park. The closing ceremony will take place on Friday at 3 PM, culminating in the crowning ceremonies for both titles at 7 PM, with Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka attending as the chief guest.

Mr. Whippy expressed gratitude to J Hunter Pearls for crafting the distinctive crown and to Shane Bower for donating the crown for Miss Charity. He emphasized that this inaugural event is designed to be an engaging four-day program, with free entry to the park. Proceeds from the event will support youth development initiatives in the Cakaudrove region.
