Aubrey Whippy, the coordinator of the Cakaudrove Multi-Ethnic Youth and Sports Festival carnival, shared that there are 14 contestants representing 12 different districts, alongside participants from Rabi Island and Kailoma. The festivities will kick off today with a parade starting from the Savusavu Court House to Narain Park.
The pageant will culminate in a closing ceremony scheduled for Friday at 3 PM, with the crowning of both the Miss Charity and Miss Cakaudrove Youth titles taking place at 7 PM, in the presence of the Chief Guest, Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka. Whippy expressed gratitude to J Hunter Pearls for crafting the exceptional pearl crown and to Shane Bower for donating the crown for Miss Charity.
