Payments for social welfare recipients for the month of August have been postponed due to the transition to the Government’s new financial year. Lynda Tabuya, the Minister for Women, Children, and Social Protection, stated that efforts are being made to speed up the process and ensure that all beneficiaries receive their allowances.
“We understand the importance of these payments to our beneficiaries and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused,” she expressed. Tabuya also confirmed that starting in September, all future monthly payments will return to their regular schedule.
